Dancing dolphins, playful polar bears and awesome sharks are all on show at Gold Coast Sea World on The Spit. It’s the theme park closest to ‘the action’ of Surfers Paradise and Main Beach.
But apart from the marine life shows, trick waters skiers and 4-D movies there’s also great rides for little kids at Sesame Street Beach plus some excellent rides for big ones like the Jet Rescue and Corkscrew rollercoasters, Bermuda Triangle, Pirate Ship and Viking’s Revenge Flume Ride.
Visit Australia’s only polar bears, Liya and Nelson, gets hands-on with majestic stingrays at Ray Reef and spy on Fairy Penguins pottering about their pool at Penguin Point.
